Raney nickel woven wire mesh is a surface-treated nickel woven wire mesh coated with Raney nickel. Its core advantage lies in the porous structure of Raney nickel, which significantly increases the specific surface area of the electrode, while its high catalytic activity notably reduces the overpotential of hydrogen evolution reaction, thereby enhancing energy conversion efficiency. It is widely used in battery electrodes, current collectors, radiation shielding, and specialized gas/liquid filtration under strong acidic or alkaline environments.
