Brass is the alloy of copper and zinc. It contains 65% copper and 35% zinc. Brass wire is woven into fine woven meshes or coarse woven meshes. Compared with the red color of copper woven wire mesh, the brass woven wire mesh has yellow colors.
The brass woven wire mesh is also called papermaking cloth, which is used in the papermaking industry. Papermaking cloth uses the phosphor bronze wires in the warp and brass wires in the weft. Brass woven wire cloth has outstanding acid and alkali resistance, so it is widely used for filtering applications.
